Looking to buy a new Kriss super V

Hi guys newbee question here.I am in the market to buy a new Kriss is there any one specific one thing I should notice so that I don't buy an old model instead of a newer one.Thank you in advance

I know the barrel is any easy way to tell, but whoever is sellin it probably wouldnt let you take the barrel shroud off. I think something with the serial could tell you, but mambro of solscud will have to fill you in on that. I cant seem to remember. You could always just buy a new one, and ask how long theyve had it for sale?

One easy visual clue is the fire/safety selector. If it has F/S, it is an older rev. If it only has a red dot, that is a newer rev.

If you have the ability to get the serial, you could call KRISS USA to know for sure, but the red dot will be the easiest hint I can think of.

Yeah that is the best indicator. The old safety is 3 and 6 o'clock position between F/S. New safetly is 5 and 8 O'clock position.
