I just got my trust, engraving about to be done first of next week, now Im confused as to what I should do next...
form 1, and cut it down myself, and send it in for "repair", or send it in with KRISS being the builder, and let them do the work. I talked to someone on the phone from KRISS, and it really just got me even more lost in the process.
This is my first SBR project...

It sounds like you are modifying a carbine. Not the first choice but if that's what you got then yes, send it in. If you cut it down, it voids warranty. SBRing the SDP is cheaper and can be done by yourself.

Lifeisdeath could you PM me with info in how you went about doing yours? I also have a suppressor in order, I have a gunsmith that said he could cut and crown it, but not sure about the threading.

since he already did the form 1, HE has to be the one to cut the barrel. Kriss will just replace the cut barrel with a new 5.5 barrel. he needs to be the one to make it into an SBR. then Kriss can "fix" the gun with an appropriate barrel.

That's what I was figuring...What form would I need to send it to KRISS to do?
