Factory pinned stock to folding stock

Post by Qbanhitman67 on Mon Nov 10, 2014 9:11 pm

Hello I am new to the Kriss Vector , I purchased the state compliant model with the pinned stock and would like to replace it with the folding stock one. It is legal in my state and I am wondering how to do this,, is it an easy remove and replace or should I send it to the factory to have them replace it. Thank you

I did the same thing. There is some information in my other threads. The process to change to the M4 adapter is similar to installing a folding stock

Here is another thread on removing the fixed stock portion

I used a drill bit that was about about half the size of the width of the head of the pin. the pin can spin in place. so I had to go very slowly and it took a while using the drill press. Just tiny advances at a time and then back off if the pin starts spinning. .

The pin has threads in it on both ends like my other post mentions. So if you go very slowly and carefully, you can run a tap through it and salvage it. But it would probably be easier to just replace the pin once you get it out.
