Kriss Vector CRB Out of Battery Detonation

So I had an out of battery detonation this weekend at the range. Luckily no one was hurt but the magazine blew out the bottom of the gun... The casing was ripped almost in two near the bottom (unsupported), bullet lodged near the muzzle. Luckily I didn't fire another round or things would have been bad. Gun appears to be OK no cracks in the frame like I have seen in other instances. I have zero confidence in this weapon. I have seen many others post this same thing... Could this be a design defect? Called kriss and they are pawning it off on the ammo. Come on really? So anyways back to Kriss it Will go.
