Kriss Ejector Empty Kriss Ejector

Post by Hugo Stiglitz Tue Apr 26, 2016 12:15 pm

So I was out shooting the Kriss at the range and after removing a spent mag a little piece of metal falls out.  What could it be I ask myself? I reloaded the mag and continued shooting.  Gun ran fine.  At home I took it apart and could see I was missing the end of my ejector.  There is still a piece of it sticking out past the bolt, enough to eject the cases.  Now I want it fixed.  I have emailed KRISS several times over the last YEAR.  No help.  They say the part isn't for sale.  I need to send them the gun.  I am not going to send them the gun when I see they are going bankrupt now and never get my gun back.  Here are some emails I have sent over the year.  I want a new Ejector I will have it installed locally.

What does your KRISS Extractor kit include?  my pin, spring and extractor took off for parts unknown one day.  That shouldn't happen..........You have no pictures or description on your page.

Hi Hugo,
Thank you for contacting KRISS-USA. At this time our webstore is currently down. With our webstore being down, our ordering system is also down at this time. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause.

I have checked on this for you and the Ejector availability. It appears that the part is “out of stock” on the webstore side because it is a part that requires special tools to put in to place so it is only offered as a repair service in our facility. I did speak our gunsmiths about the work required to place the new ejector and it is very involved. We do offer repair services for KRISS Vectors. Warranties are valid for one year, two if registered online, but are non-transferrable. Any firearm that is out of warranty has a $120 initial fee and that includes the first hour of labor and return shipping. Once received, our gunsmiths will then issue an estimate for repair.

Changing an ejector is not something you're going to be able to do on your own. Giving a customer an ejector would only cause more problems, so they're never going to sell you one.

Also it was Sphinx in Switzerland who filed bankruptcy, KRISS USA is doing fine and has been expanding it's product line.

Send the gun in before your warranty runs out.
