In talking with Reuven, we were exchanging shooting techniques. He was talking about how the K10 will be ambidextrous, aside from the ejection port. Then we talked about how I operate my KRISS when I shoot left handed.

Here is his technique.

Haven't actually received mine yet, but while I was handling it, this was my planned method of operation. Sometimes I wish I was right-handed....

I would try shooting right handed. I try shooting lefty just so it doesnt seem so alien to me. So when I need to, like in a competition, I am more comfortable cause I tried it.

Seems counter intuitive. I've run a lot of AK platform rifles, and with those you rotate the mag inboard and stroke the bolt from underneath. You also do this in your "workspace", near eye level, to facilitate the ability to keep eyes on threats. Mag changes would be extremely difficult in the manner described in the video as well.

I don't have any hours in the Vector, so I'm not stating this as definitive practice, but my substantial experience is telling me the AK methodology seems like a better solution.

I'll revisit this when mine arrives and I've put it through its paces.

Cheers.
