I picked up the Kriss-SBR on Dec 12/15 I have been shooting it sense I picked it up, its been 16 months, I am now at 39,000 rounds. I did have a issue with the recoil spring it started to spread open at the slider causing drag and slowing the bolt down but the only real issue with the spring was the bolt would not lock back on the last round but was working good. I called Kriss and talked to Charlie and asked him if he checked my spring, he said it was ok at 32k make when it was up at kriss. It went 5k more rounds before it started to go bad so I replaced it now, and its good, Sense I got it back my SBR has been running very good with no issues except for the Recoil spring, but it lasted way past the time they suggested I think, 20k rds? i have been wondering about my barrel, it will still shoot one hole groups when I want to, I still have my like new 16 inch barrel so I did some checking both of them to see if they measure near the same they both seem to have the same rifling and inner Dia? so I will keep shooting it till its worn out. I did have a few bad rounds, some primers not fire and a few split cases, but all in all running good, I really like the kriss even when it was having a few issues in the 08 & 09 years

Nice. I do have a few questions for you since you have a high round count behind the gun.

First, did the buffer on the bottom of the slider show any signs of excessive wear that warranted it being replaced? Comparing it to a AR15 buffer, the material seems to be of the same construction.

Second, did they replace the hammer springs?

The hammer spring was replaced at 32k when it was sent back for some up grades in Dec 15, they put in the newer hammer with the bump on it so it would not fire in a out of battery condition. I also asked him to put in the SMG hammer spring it is a bit more heavy and will last longer, I also helps stop the light primer strikes. The SMG hammer spring does make the trigger pull a pound more heavy, but I got all of my trigger parts polished, and it really dont bother me that much that it is a tad more heavy on the trigger pull. The green buffer srop on the bottom of the slider was in like new shape even after 32k and when I replaced the recoil spring I did not change it it was still as good as the new one that came with the new recoil spring, when the recoil spring started to go bad I thought it was the (3) glock mags I have been using sense I got it in 08, So I put in new mag springs to see if that was the problem, but after I changed the mag springs the kriss did the same thing, the bolt would not lock back after the last round, after the new recoil spring was put in the kriss it worked like new

Pretty good reliability from yours.

I just sent mine back for them to take a look. It hit 5k and started having light primer strikes and FTF.

over the past 2 years my SBR has been running Great, and even in the years prior it was running 90% good some light strikes FTE at times, just the recoil spring 2 months ago I got 1800 plus rounds sense my posting, have them put in a SMG hammer spring, thats what I had put in mine in 2013 and I have never had a light strike sense, the SMG hammer spring adds a bit to the trigger pull but the trigger design just dont bother me, I am going to give t my Kriss a rest, and shoot something else, my UZI or my 9mm AR, I got back in 1990 it has only 2k rounds, and has not been out of the safe in 10 years, I figure I am going to ware out my Kriss barrel even though it is still shooting tight... if you do send it back ask them to do all the needed upgrades if they will

Too late. I sent it back. Got receipt email stating that'd it'd take weeks. No response until I got an, "It's fixed. Here's your shipping info yesterday."

So... I guess I'll find out one I get it back next week.

Mine started to jam a lot. Sent back to Kriss and I practically got a new rifle back. I think the serial number plate, mag release and charging handle are the only things they didn't replace. Put 300 rounds though it without a problem. I have to say the new stock is more robust. Hate I had no warranty but I'm glad she's up and running again.

Same. They replaced it with pretty much a Gen 2 gun. My upper receiver is the same, but all the internals in the lower and the hammer components in the upper are brand new.
