From the looks of the pics, it's an older gun with the "F" and "S" on the fire selector.

I cannot say for certain about the free part with KRISS USA now, but I had, um... "outstanding customer service and satisfaction" when I sent my early CRB in for an update/refresh. I was told I could send it in and they would call me with an estimate of what it needed before work was done. Well, they essentially rebuilt mine (and my father's who has an even earlier serial)... for um... "exceedingly reasonable" terms. No idea if that level of goodwill is still in play, but sure worth checking into it a bit with a phone call.

You and your updates. I refuse to update. In fact thanks to Mike here, I have sucessfully reverted my KRISS to early production spec. haha

Yes, and a bit hard to tell the "age" from the shots provided. It does appear to have the radius/newer stock... MWI sights (branding doesn't matter w/function)... lower looks to have the older branding/marks with "Super V" and "CRB/SO" and ".45 ACP" but really can't see 'em too well. May also have the pressed hard points in the lower. With the promo for Vector owners to "re-register" their weapons and get a year of warranty... it might be worth considering picking it up and sending it in for refresh anyways.

Anything thrown in the mix? Magazines, case, sling, foregrip, etc.?

Call me crazy, call me nuts, but I'm into running latest specs when possible. If there have been design/engineering changes for the better... then lemme have 'em.

I dont see them being better. At least nothing so far for me. Everything seems cosmetic. I like my safety geometry. And my charging handle is fine. I do need to get the buffer for the slider as mine is almost all gone haha.

He's throwing in a couple 30 rounders.

I just made an offer. Hopefully, he'll take it. I've got a new Kriss in Dros right now, but I can back out before the 10 day wait is over.

It's exactly the non-cosmetic stuff I'm most interested in. They replaced a laundry list of internal components on mine... and none I would consider cosmetic. I'm not a gloves guy, so I'd take the "revised" safety given the chance as the next little upgrade. Yeah, the selector "sorta" digs into my finger but at least doesn't take the skin off like the original stock! (Haven't bothered to check in with KRISS on that F/S ---probably meaning upper--- swap possibility.)

When we kick around BUIS swaps and branding/naming on stuff... yep, that's cosmetic to me as well.

All that being said by me about the goodness of engineering/production refinements, I'm not thrilled to see members showing up here with hard charging issues on NEW Vectors.

Exactly. Mine works and I see no reason to change it. Leave it well enough alone.

No, I have one in DROS and I just canceled that. My dealer is ok with that as he has a few buyers waiting for a Kriss.

The deal was for $1,200 shipped with a couple mags and everything that came with the carbine. Which is nice as the new Kriss was closer to $2 grand.
