K10 problems? Empty K10 problems?

Post by Solscud007 Mon Mar 12, 2012 10:15 am

I just had a thought. How does the K10 bolt lock open? So far the pictures show an ambidextrous charging handle. But I dont see the bolt catch. Is the bolt catch in the same location? If so I see a MAJOR design flaw. The current KRISS Vector can be racked and locked in one motion with the left hand. You grab the handle and when you rack it back, your index finger pushes the bolt catch in to lock the bolt. If the K10 bolt catch is similar to the Vector then the operator will have to remove their hand from fire control to manipulate the charging handle and use the support hand to press the bolt catch. is there is something I missed. I admit I assume the K10 has a Vector style bolt catch.

The bolt catch and release is in the middle of the angled grip facing forward, so you'd rack it down with your left hand thumb and at the same time push the catch in with your index finger, or reversed for a right side charging handle since it's ambi
