Everything is ridiculously over priced right now. I managed to purchase everything I wanted this past year except for one & that is a scar 16s. I know I won't be getting one unless my dealer gets extremely lucky.

I ordered my KRISS CRB the day of the Connecticut shooting for $1670 shipped. Scar would be somewhere around $2350 if she can find it. She doesn't price gouge which is why I love her ;)

BlackLabel helped me find a Scar 17 last October. I thought I would wait for a couple months to save up. But he said the chance of him finding another was very remote. I am glad I didn't wait and pulled the trigger.

I also purchased my kriss and colt ar before the gouging began, I would of also added a scar but locally no one had em in stock even before the shooting. the price is a little steep I guess

The panic buyers are driving the market. I have seen recently that prices have been dropping slowly. It looks to be no AWB so just wait for these guys at the ranges crying about their $5500 scars and such. Don't get me wrong I paid $200 over on my carbine. But thats not bad considering people are paying 2X, 3X

I have an SBR on order for $1875. Kriss just called the dealer to tell him they are ready for the paperwork (took about 4 weeks). I've decided to do another LLC to hold this and other NFA items in the future. I should have the paperwork submitted this week!

True. However I bought my Kel-Tec shotgun for $1500 back in March 2012, I have not once complained about the price. Everyone I come across, that has heard of the KSG, always says the same thing. "I can't find one" Even at SHOT SHOW 2013, the most common comment about the KSG was "Why can't I find one?" or "You can't find these". I always smile and say that is is not true. Just pay the money to play. I thoroughly enjoy my KSG and it was worth every penny. I am not lucky enough to stumble across one for retail in a store like some people. But I have it and it always makes me smile.

The "golden unicorn" aka the KSG. Its on my list in OD. 1500 not bad. Keltec just is slow on production. That's what drove those up. Spending a little bit more on an auction to get it is ok I'm my book but not the 3k they have been going for (cost 580) Keltec has upset people recently with their announcment of the price increase due to the possibility of an awb. I'm holding off for them to calm down, also they are working on the KSG v2, but no word on what's new. But it is one sweet shifty, congrats
