Extended bolt release

After less than a week with my Kriss I see a need for an extended bolt release that would have a larger pad that slightly extends forward. I think it would be easier to use than the factory that is limited to the standard configuration.

Why? Unlike an AR you cannot drop the mag with your trigger finger. That means you "must" use your off hand to drop the mag. When you insert a fresh mag your off hand activates the bolt release as your support hand is repositioning. A larger , extended button makes it easier to accidentally lock the bolt back. I can only see an advantage to what you are asking if you did not want to move your support hand which you have to do anyway.

Well I disagree. I know how an AR operates since I've used them since the mid-80's. Like I said I think a slightly extended & larged pad (on the front) bolt relase would make dropoing the bolt easier & quicker after inserting a freah mag. Based on the bolt release design I just don't see how one could accidentlally lock the bolt back when the extension & larger pad is on the front vs. the rear end. I have no need to drop thge bolt with my tri8gger finger. Your mileage may vary.
