Kris's mags falling out!! Empty Kris's mags falling out!!

Just got two of the Kriss extended mags and they will not stay in gun for more than two rounds without falling out. If you push back hard on a empty mag while in the gun it will also fall out. Anyone else having this problem and is there a fix? Works fine with stock mags and a Korean extended that I have.

Are you pushing on a closed bolt?

If so do it on an open bolt.

It happens both with bolt open and closed. Easier to make it fall out when closed. The big thing is that they fall out while shooting. Recoil seems to bounce them out of the mag catch.

Sounds like a bad mag catch or catch spring. The mag catch is a standard gen four Glock catch and can be ordered for $3.95 at Lone Wolf Distributing. Not sur if the spring is standard. You would have to call Kriss about the spring.

I had the same issue. There is a video of it somewhere. Anyway check the KRISS mag thread.

The one I have problems with is a Gen 4 mag. My Gen 4 Glock came with three of them. They all work fine in my Glock. But one of them doesnt want to stay in the kriss. I dont see any difference.

Simply swap out one of your other standard mags with the problem mag. Do you know how to take apart the extended mag?

To clarify, you used a working mag. When the mag is standard 13 rd length it works fine? By when you add the extension it doesn't work?

Yes, I tried this with a mag that I knew worked. I just called Kriss. They said that it was a problem with the mag catch/spring, most likely, and are sending me new ones. We will see what happens

When you get the new parts, could you take pictures of them before you install them? I'd also like to see how the mag release looks after it's installed. Thanks!
