Sorry, just an off topic question. But I notice you have painted certain part of your KRISS with red paint. It looks awesome! Can you walk me through the step to do that? I just got my first KRISS, and I do not want to mess up this beauty!

It is crayon. Look up how people use crayon to fill in text for glocks

Nightwolf...

Here's what he's talking about...

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OjcyBjaLNBY&feature=related

There is one for using fingernail polish and model paint (colofill) on there too...

Personal experience...Crayon works but doesn't last long if you put it on anything that gets hot...(barrel, receiver..etc)

so has anyone tried using fingernail polish on the Kriss? I'm curious if the polish remover would damage the polymer?

i would like to try this on my Kris, AR and Saiga 12.

Fingernail polish remover is a mild form of acetone. I t should be ok if you use it sparingly.

I will have to give it a try... need to get some red, because that looks cool.

Just a suggestion but I've always used China Markers in white, black or red to hi-light the lettering on my guns. you can buy them at office supply stores and art stores.
