Just for info on stamps, sent my check in on the 30th of April and it was cashed on the 15th of this month.  My dealer says it usually takes about 3 to 4 months to clear.  Hoping things are speeding up a little and wanted to let you guy's know.cheerscheers

It only took 2 weeks to have my check cleared, I should get mine back end of July. Never heard 3-4 months to have check clear

BATFE is pretty backed up right now.  My check cleared in seven days but it has been a full two months since the check cleared and my forms have not been entered into the system and assigned an examiner yet. Your wait time really starts from the minute they enter your forms into their computer system and assign it an examiner.  That is hovering around six months now.

I have one of the shortest approval times in NFA history.  It took 21 days mailbox to mailbox to get my forms approved for a suppressor.  That was about 3 years ago.  All of my other NFA items (13 of them so far) have averaged 45 to 65 days mailbox to mailbox.

This wait is killing me as I have been very lucky in the past.

My dealer took care of all of the paperwork, so how do you find out when it hit's the system?

Call (304) 616-4500 give them your serial number of your item. This number is the NFA office
