A question about the 6.5" barrel SDP Empty A question about the 6.5" barrel SDP

Post by hill92 Sat Aug 25, 2012 2:30 am

I have been trying to decide between the 5.5" or 6.5" barrel SDP. I was kind of leaning towards the 6.5" threaded barrel SDP but everyone I find says it's the California Comp version with the bullet button.

My question is can you buy the SDP with the 6.5" threaded barrel and not be the California Comp version with the bullet button? Or am I going to have to get the 5.5" threaded barrel SDP to avoid that?

Is that extra inch even worth it or should I just go with the 5.5" barrel?

Thanks for any help. I'm really looking forward to getting one.

I believe you but am I going to have to put up with a bullet button to have one?

I'm just going to go with the 5.5" then and not worry about it.

If everything goes as planned I should have it a week from now. The SDP that is.

I would get the CA version and remove the bullet button yourself.

i know Raddlock makes a bullet button for it. not sure yet which one will come with mine. i just ordered the 6.5" SDP from Bud's Gun Shop. just curious if i will have to obtain magazine release parts for it.
