22rd Magazine Available NOW! Empty 22rd Magazine Available NOW!

It may be a bit pricey still and only offered by overseas retailers at this time, but it has arrived!

http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/kriss-vector-gbb-22rd-magazine-by-kwa.html

Airsoft GI sells the 49rnd KRISS magazine for just over $40. ehobbyasia lists it at $60.

With this price difference it can be expected that the 22rnd magazine, once offered in the states, will be priced comparable to their ATP magazines. $29 to $35 each

I find it humorous that there is much more metal and materials in the KWA mag compared to a Glock 13 rd mag with extension. And the KWA is cheaper.

Well considering it's a container for gas and has to have a particular PSI rating it makes sense. RS KRISS mags don't need the thick walls.

Also it is designed that way, as are all gas magazines, so that they either themselves are comparable in weight to RS mags when fully loaded or the mag adds to the weight of the replica so it comes closer to its RS counterparts weight.

One thing I've noticed Nick...
It appears that the bottom plate may slide off on this smaller mag. If so... There is possibly an entirely new market for your speedplates!

I tried it. Only problem is you would have to drill a hole for the gas nozzle, not sure of it is long enough. Or slide the speed plat off every time you want to fill your mag.

I did replace my mag with a Glock 21 base plate.

Magpul speed plates for KSC glocks slide forward to reveal the fill valve. Just like their OEM plates do.
