KWA KRISS Airsoft SMG

My KWA Kriss Vector arrived today.
All I have to say is that I am absolutely amazed at the accuracy of this replica gun. It's weight and fit and finish are so good, it is very difficult to differentiate between the real deal and the airsoft replica.
I am extremely happy with my purchase!
You guys have to get one of these!!!

Some interesting details to notice. They are using the updated upper and receiver stampings. "KRISS VECTOR" and the ".45 ACP" right above the Super V logo. However they are using the old style F/S Safety selector switch.

I'm very pleased that they mimicked the KRISS slider mechanism. I'm curious to see how similar this will be to my KRISS and the SMG that I shot.

This is a MUST have for me.

They have updated to the new Fire selector switch and apparently their claim is that the replica, since our visit with them was fixed to allow the use of the Surefire kit.

I can attest though that the surefire kit doesn't play well with the replica. The slot for the tape switch is quite narrow and only the cheap airsoft replica tape switches can slide through. The Surefire is too thick and the slot needs to be modified. I have yet to get mine installed.

I also encountered issues trying to get the surefire kit into the adapter and adapter into the KRISS. Maybe I'm just doing it wrong.

I have been thinking about a light kit for my KWA. My real Kriss has the Surefire kit and an EOTech. For the KWA, I already picked up a EOTech clone and wanted to add a light, but thought that I would go with a Surefire clone or some other light that is not as expensive.
Any thoughts?
BTW, when you put the KWA selector on full auto and pull the trigger, there is nothing more fun!

The light receptacle of the KWA is a bit tight. Also it helps to remove the tail cap and the insert the SF body. Make sure you removed the pocket clip, it helps to remove the O ring first.

Also make sure the set screw is backed out then screw it down onto the recess for the absent pocket clip.

Yeah, everything about the surefire setup for the KWA is iffy. It is really, really a tight fit. I know I will have to cut the slot in the upper receiver to accommodate the UE07 as well as the SR07

Brian, be careful when you cut the slot. I used a power drill to drill a larger home in the side. The plastic is much more brittle than my real steel.

I read that when you posted. I'll be using a dremel(less cumbersome).

The slot itself is just too damn narrow!

Just to slow. I went fast and,y large bit snagged on the plastic and cracked the housing.
