Can't own kriss vector sdp in california?

Hi guys, new to kriss talk. Bought a sdp on gunbroker and dealer stated sdp was cali legal. has 6.5 barrel and blocked single shot 10 round magazine. When I went to my FFL they looked up the gun on the DOJ and couldn't find a way to get it through the computer either using the regular pistol list of the exemption list. They even had guns sold at kmart way back when but not any kriss vectors!! Does anyone know a way around this or am i just screwed and have to send it back. Why would kriss vector sell a gun like this? Is it meant for a different state? Would appreciate any help.

I hope you were able to pick up your kriss. I got mine from cityarms in pacifica ca. There us a way.

I am a direct Kriss distributor in Richmond and sell tons of weapons.  I am placing a large order tomorrow am and will post the answer when I'm done. The dealer price list does not offer a SDP Cali option only CARBINE with fixed stock and mag lock.  Not to say one can't be converted interesting subject

Updated___ A lot has changed since I have last posted and I am sorry to everyone in the community but I have been OVERWHELMED with the new store. YES A CA COMPLIANT SDP IS AVAILABLE.

They make a sdp that is ca compliant

I have seen SDP in multiple stores in Cali. sacramentoblackrifle.com has them frequently, and have seen them at Sportsmans Arms in Petaluma
